Walking Sticks
How do you get the correct walking stick for you?
The following procedure should help to get the correct cane height needed:-
1. Your usual footwear for walking should first be put on.
2. Stand up as straight as you can naturally.
3. Relax and let your arms fall naturally to the sides, with a relaxed
bend at the elbow.
4. With a tape measure have someone else measure the distance from the
bottom crease of your waist to the floor, rounding the measurement up to
the nearest half inch.
Note: This is only the standard procedure for measuring cane size
required. Some users may have conditions requiring them to have their
canes at different lengths.

Folding
Adjustable Walking Sticks
These sticks are adjustable, lightweight and easy to use. They have a
“T” shaped handle and fold neatly away when not being used. They all
have a maximum user weight of 114Kg (18stone).

Wooden Walking Canes
Beautifully carved from beech and finished with a Derby hook shaped handle, these attractive and easy to use canes will give support to those who need it when walking.
They all measure 915mm (36”) in length and have a rubber ferrule.

Walking Stick Seat
This is ideal for those who find it difficult walking or standing for long periods of time, also great for the more adventurous, when on long walks or hikes and wanting to rest their feet from time to time.
The seat will fold flat and clip together to form a walking stick.
Lightweight and manufactured from aluminium this useful walking aid is strong and is corrosion free.

Cane Strap
A handy strap that fastens around either wooden or plastic handled canes and provides a wrist strap.
The loop, when placed around the users wrist is a very useful accessory as it allows them to have both hands free without dropping or losing their cane.
It is easily fitted to the cane or walking stick by sliding the collar of the strap up the stick from the ferrule end (the ferrule would need to be removed temporarily first to fit the strap).
