Effective against bad breath, tartar and plaque build-up
If your dog or cat suffers with bad breath, this may indicate that
their oral hygiene is inadequate. PlaqueOff is a natural product made
from Ascophyllum Nodosum, which is a specially selected seaweed
harvested from the seas of Norway and Iceland. Developed in Sweden,
PlaqueOff helps maintain healthy gums and improve bad breath and with
daily use can considerably help control dental plaque and tartar.
It is simple to administer, just measure the required amount with the
scoop that is supplied and add the dried granules to your pets food each
day. It doesn't matter if your pet eats dried or moist food, they will
love the flavour.
PlaqueOff works systemically through the blood stream and alters the
composition of the saliva. It is thought to affect the ability of plaque
from sticking to the mouths surfaces, softening hard tartar deposits so
that they dissolve away and helps to prevent new layers of plaque and
tartar from forming. After a few weeks of use you should start to see
some results, the bad breath is usually first improvement that you will
notice.
In trials, this product has been shown to achieve a 66%
reduction in plaque and a 46% reduction in tartar in eight weeks.

FAQs
Q. If my pet is on medication can I give
PlaqueOff to them?
A. Yes, as long as it is not medication that is for
the treatment of Hyperthyroidism. There is nothing in the contents
or PlaqueOff that would be likely to cause unwanted reactions. It is
currently being used with cats and dogs that have heart, liver,
bowel, kidney and other disorders. However, it is always best to
check with your vet if you have any concerns before beginning any
new treatment.
Q. My dog/cat is very fussy and what if they
won't eat it?
A. Try hiding the dosage in a treat, or even split
the dose over two meals in the day until they get used to it.
However, most people find that they have no trouble in getting their
pet to take it.
Q. Can I use if my dog/cat is pregnant ?
A. It is recommended that you take your pet off of
PlaqueOff whilst it is pregnant or lactating, as it has not been
trialled on lactating cats or dogs or on their newborn.
Q. What should I do if my pet still has bad
breath?
A. Consult your veterinary surgeon as persistent
bad breath can be a symptom of a more serious underlying condition
